Marvel Crisis Protocol - League

Schedule

The league will run over 10 weeks starting Saturday August 29th. Ending (And including) Sunday November 8th. There will be 5 rounds, each round lasting 2 weeks. You are expected to finding all 5 of your games before the end of the league but do not have to finish all your games by the end of the week, If you can't fit in a game one week, you can catch up by playing one or more games in a future week if that is easier on your schedule.

Entry fees

Entry to the league will cost $20. Each player who completes all their games will get $20 in store credit with TTR.

New Player Discount
--------------------------
Any player who purchases a starter box (one containing 10 or more models, the one purchase of multiple boxes containing a total of 10 or more models) will get free entry to the league.

Regular Game points:
---------------------------
There are 5 points available for each regular league game:

1 point: played a game
1 point: win a game
1 point: deploy at least 1 character to the table that you haven't deployed in any previous league games
1 point: have at least half the miniatures in your 10 man roster fully painted
1 point: post a picture from your game on discord or Facebook (if you didn't take a photo, get creative, maybe draw one)

Special Challenges
---------------------------
These can be completed over the course of the league, each of these challenges can only be completed once. You can complete multiple special challenges in one game if you fulfill their requirements, there are 10 points total that can be earned over your league games:

1 point: deploy an Avengers Affiliated character.
1 point: deploy an Cabal Affiliated character.
1 point: deploy a mutant character. (a mutant is anyone from the below affiliations: X-Men, X-Force, Weapon X, Brotherhood of Mutants, New Mutants, Hellfire Club, Servants of Apocalypse, X-Factor)
1 point: K.O an Avengers/Cabal or Mutant affiliated character.
1 point: hold all the extract tokens at some point in your game.
1 point: Deploy less than 26 characters throughout all your league games.
1 point: play a game with only character specific team tactics cards
1 point: Destroy at 5 least pieces of terrain in a single game
1 point: play a game deploying less than 4 models
1 point: play a game deploying greater than 5 models

Awards

Best General: The player who wins the most games
Best Hobbyist: Everyone will vote for their favourite painted roster out of the opponents they played.
Best Sports: Everyone will vote for their favourite player to play against out of the opponents they played.
Best Overall: The player with the highest points overall from the league at the end.
Special Challenger: The player who got the most points specifically from special challenges.

Tie Breaks
--------------------------
All tie breaks will be a drawing competition, you will be assigned an MCP character to draw. Best Drawing wins. It probably won't happen, but if it does, let's have fun with it.
