Warhammer 40k - Slow Grow League

This league is designed for players of all skill levels to grow a new army, develop a better grasp of the rules, and overall enjoy a fun event for Warhammer 40K. The league will be on a four month schedule. Players will select a single Faction for the duration of the event. Army lists and detachments may change from round to round, but a player may not switch armies entirely.

The goal of this league is to learn 11th Edition 40K, and to work towards completing a 2000 point list. Painting isn't required, but we highly encourage players to have their army painted by the end of the league!

The league will start at 1000 points and increase by 250 points every round, with the last round being 2000 points. All rounds will use Strike Force rules.

Each player must provide a reliable method of contact upon signing up so that opponents may coordinate times to play each other.

How the league will work:

Every round will start on a Monday. A list must be submitted by Sunday at 10pm. If a list is not provided any game will not count towards the league. Lists will be available to be updated via BCP.

Everyone can play as many games as they want, but only the first game will count each round.

At the end of the league players will be asked to fill out a form to vote for Best Painted, Best Sportsmanship, and provide any feedback you may have about the league. Please have these filled out by the judging day!

Round One: July 6 - July 26 (1000 points)

Round Two : July 27 - Aug 16 (1250 points)

Round Three: Aug 17 - Sept 6 (1500 points)

Round Four: Sept 7 - Sept 27 (1750 points)

Round Five: Sept 28 - Oct 18 (2000 points)

Judging Day - Oct 25

Use the time between the last round and Judging Day to touch up your armies!

Best Showing of Sportsmanship (Tie - ranking system)

Overall Champion (Tie - Games played)
