I know I've been telling everyone about building a Soulblight Gravelords army......
I have been talking about it ever since the release of the 2nd Edition Battletome. Of course, as a store owner, I have all kinds of excuses to procrastinate as the business expands and I have more and more customers to take care of.
Lately, a good friend of mine wrote up a test blog post for my online store (Which will be published soon.), and I thought to myself: Why can't I do the same? Build and play with something and blog about it? It's business and pleasure all at the same time! So let's do it!
This blog will document the building and painting of a Soulblight Gravelords army, all the way up to 1500 points. I might even go to 2000 points depending on the speed of my progress. I am hoping to include some gameplay posts also. As we all know, we are more motivated to finish painting the models as we get more attached to the army through playing games with them.
What I have so far......
Here's what I've managed to pull together in the past couple years. Embarrassing, I know......
While I have some Skeletons and Zombies from the Cursed City box set done, I'm not going to count them as a part of this journey because they are from a different game, and I didn't paint most of them. But yes, I'll still play with them.
I will be updating this blog as much as I can with new additions and test color schemes. Chances are, there will be another short update tomorrow on my day off!
See you soon!

I can’t wait for you to get these on the table! As you know, I just started the same faction, and am excited to face off in a vampire turf war one day. Is it just the lighting, or do you have a metallic base on those knights?
